Attention Big Trees Market shoppers we are approaching one of our busiest holiday weekends, 4th of July has arrived here in our little Arnold town. I would like to put out a few friendly reminders. But first our meat department has an announcement.

Our meat grinder is up and running! Our meat department is ready to assist you with your holiday shopping. We apologize for the inconvenience during that time and appreciate your patience as well as your business.

Now I would like to go over a few reminders.

1. You will experience long lines over the weekend and we will be fully staffed upfront. Our cashiers do the best they can to get you in and out as quick and efficient as possible. We kindly just ask for your patience.

2. Please make sure you have your payment method ready at time of checkout. We accept all forms of payments (apple pay, visa, discover, amex…etc.). We also accept WIC and EBT. If for any reason the internet goes down unfortunately those methods of payments will not work. When internet is down we can only accept cash or credit cards. Always be prepared and ready.

3. We are currently stocked with paper bags but we still recommend if you have your own bags to please bring them in and have them ready when you checkout so it prevents having to wait as you run to your vehicle and retrieve them.

4. Green baskets can be placed on the belt and we are happy to unload it for you. Also it helps our baggers from having to squeeze through the crowd to gather them.

5. If you are shopping with a group of people and the cashier does not have a bagger at the time we dont mind if you would like to bag your own groceries. Saves time so the cashier can keep ringing up your items.

6. We ask if you are in line try not to block the middle walkway so folks can get through as they shop.

7. Big items such as cases of water, 2.5 gallon arrowhead waters, bags of ice, hot wood, and watermelons can all remain in your cart. We have codes for those. Same for some of our bulk beer.

8. Brett Harte Discount cards are accepted at our store. We recommend you let the cashier know before presenting payment. You can tell them when they start ringing your items but sometimes we may forget.
