White Pines, CA…Friends of Sierra Nevada Logging Museum Present 29th Annual Logging Jamboree! Family-Friendly Day of Competitions, Demonstrations, and BBQ Celebrates Logging Heritage on Labor Day Weekend.

Friends of the Sierra Nevada Logging Museum invite the public to the 29th Annual Logging Jamboree on Saturday, September 5 (Labor Day weekend), from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2148 Dunbar Road in White Pines.The day features amateur and professional axe throwing, Jack & Jill bucking, choker setting, hot saws competitions, and much more.

Competition prizes will be awarded, and attendees can enjoy BBQ by Moose. Spectators of all ages are welcome to watch skilled competitors and experience traditional logging skills in a festive outdoor setting. Admission is $10 for adults; children under 12 are free.

All proceeds benefit the Sierra Nevada Logging Museum.“This annual jamboree brings the community together to celebrate the rich history of logging in the Sierra Nevada while supporting the museum’s mission to preserve that heritage,” said organizers.
