San Andreas, CA…(Acerage Updated) The Gann Fire is now 9,363.4 acres. The good news is we are starting to see containment numbers. They tend to be conservative on these so if they are saying 10% there is a good chance they have a handle on much more of the Gann’s perimeter than this. The cavalry has also fully arrived as they now have 1,500 personnel assigned to the fire. Let’s hope today they can really start taking the heat out of the Gann. As Churchill said, “Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”
