San Andreas, CA…On August 10th, 2026 at approximately 4:42pm, a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound on Beverlynn Lane approaching State Route 49 and a Ford Bronco was travelling northbound on State Route 49 approaching Beverlynn Lane. The Harley Davidson did not stop for approaching traffic and entered State Route 49.

The motorcycle was making a left turn onto State Route 49 southbound, directly into the path of the Ford Bronco resulting in a broadside collision which ejected the motorcycle rider causing major injuries.

CHP officers arrived on scene a couple minutes later and provided medical aid to the motorcycle rider until the rider was transported by ambulance for major injuries. The driver of the Ford Bronco was also transported by ambulance for minor injuries. The rider of the motorcycle was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Drugs and/or alcohol is not a suspected factor in this collision. This incident is still under investigation.
