Angels Camp, CA…Mrs. Deloris Jane Spangler November 17, 1946 ~ August 13, 2026 (age 79). A Celebration of Life is Planned for October 3rd. Jane Spangler was born on November 17, 1947, in Fredericktown, Missouri. During her senior year of high school, she moved to California, where she would go on to build a full and memorable life.

Jane had a long career in real estate. She first worked in Tuolumne and Calaveras counties before later moving to Monterey County, where she became the owner of Cottages and Castles Real Estate. Real estate was more than a career for Jane; it gave her the opportunity to meet people, form lasting friendships, and become part of the communities she loved.

Jane was a true spitfire. She loved to have fun, loved to laugh, and brought energy wherever she went. She enjoyed life and was happiest when she was surrounded by the people she loved. Time spent with family was especially important to her, whether it was simply being together, sharing stories, laughing, or making memories. Jane had a strong spirit, a big personality, and a presence that will not easily be forgotten.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hazel Shoemaker; her son, Bruce Francini; her husband, John Spangler; and her companion, Leon Carr.

She is survived by her twin sister, Jean Wright; her daughter, Carmela “Carmie” Sanchez; her son-in-law, Glen Sanchez; her grandchildren, Zachary Morris, Amanda Chaney, and Molly Chaney; as well as extended family and many friends whose lives she touched.

Jane will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
