San Andreas, CA…The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office is proud to recognize three members of our team as they reach significant milestones in their careers with the Sheriff’s Office.

Lieutenant DeAyrian Greaves — 20 Years of Service
Lieutenant Greaves began her career with the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office in 2006 as a Deputy Sheriff. Over the past 20 years, she has served in Patrol, Narcotics, Detectives, and as an ATF Task Force Officer, while continuing to take on leadership roles within the department. She has served as a Field Training Officer, Patrol and Administrative Sergeant, and has supervised several divisions and units throughout her career. Lieutenant Greaves is also a certified Hostage Negotiator and team leader with the Crisis Negotiation Team, where she has helped manage multiple critical incidents. Her commitment to the Sheriff’s Office and to the people of Calaveras County has been evident throughout every stage of her career.

Sergeant Jim Moser — 20 Years of Service
For the past 20 years, Sergeant Moser has served the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office in a variety of specialized and leadership roles. A graduate of the prestigious Contra Costa County Police Academy, Class 157, Sergeant Moser went on to become a valued member of the Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, eventually earning the position of Team Leader. He also served as a K9 handler with K9 Knox, who was himself SWAT certified. Throughout his career, Sergeant Moser has continued to take on roles that reflect his commitment to training, teamwork, and service. He has served as a department Defensive Tactics and Baton Instructor, Field Training Officer, Patrol Supervisor, and in Marine Safety. His willingness to step into challenging roles, share his knowledge, and help develop those around him has made him a respected and valued member of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office. Sergeant Moser is also the current Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (DSA) President.

Senior Dispatcher Brittni Stevens — 10 Years of Service
For the past 10 years, Brittni Stevens has been a dedicated member of our Communications Division and has become an accomplished Senior Dispatcher. Brittni also serves as a Tactical Dispatcher during critical incidents and is a POST-certified First Aid and CPR Instructor for our department. Her professionalism and commitment to the job have not gone unnoticed, as she has been named Dispatcher of the Year twice during her career.

Sheriff Rachelle Whiting and the entire Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office are extremely proud of these three individuals and grateful for the hard work, dedication, and continued growth they have demonstrated throughout their careers.

Milestones like these are more than a number. They represent years of early mornings, late nights, difficult calls, critical incidents, long hours, and countless moments where these individuals have stepped up to serve their coworkers and their community.
