Calaveras County, CA…The Commission on Aging is accepting applications to honor those that provide valuable volunteer services in Calaveras County.

Eligibility Requirements
 Resident of Calaveras County
 60 years of age or better
 An active volunteer in Calaveras County in any capacity
 Not a previous Senior of the Year winner
Nomination Information
 Your name, phone number and email address
 Nominee’s name, address, phone number
 Number of years volunteering
 List reason for nominating this person for Senior of the Year (be as specific as
possible and list all volunteer contributions this person has made in Calaveras
County – please do not use abbreviations or acronyms.)
As only information submitted will be used in the selection process, the nominators are
encouraged to work with those they nominate to ensure all volunteer work is captured.
All nominees will be honored with a Certificate of Appreciation and acknowledged by
District Supervisors at an October 12th luncheon from 10:00am – 2:00pm at Dodasa
Ranch in Burson.
