Moccasin, CA…Update as of 8:30 a.m., The fire off of Hwy 49 and Marshes Flat road has reached approximately 930 acres and 0% containment. Hwy 49 is still closed through Mariposa-Tuolumne Co. line and at hwy 120.

There are approximately 850 personnel assigned to this fire.
Conditions continue to be hot and dry. Steep and rugged terrain is making access to the fire difficult. Crews continue to use ground and air resources to build a containment line.

Mandatory evacuations remain in effect for Moccasin Ranch estates subdivision. No further evacuations ordered at this time.
