Copperopolis, CA…Copperopolis Town Square – the Castle & Cooke California-owned events, shopping and entertainment gathering place in Calaveras County – will host two fall-themed events the second weekend in October.

Oktoberfest will take place on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. A variety of local, regional and national beers will be available for purchase, as well as grilled bratwurst sausages, sauerkraut, German potato salad, sweets and more.

The family-friendly event will also feature a kids’ zone, bounce house, face painting, pumpkin patch and photo booth. Live music by Keno Rojas, contests and craft vendors will also be part of the festivities.

It will be followed by the second-annual Old Fashioned Harvest Festival on Sunday, Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Live music by Jill and the Giants will be complemented by vendors selling fall produce and other goodies, free hay rides, a photo booth and pumpkin patch, plus a kids’ zone with face painting, Bob the Balloon Guy and more. Proceeds from sales at the outdoor bar will benefit the Calaveras Humane Society.
