2016-002 TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP for CD DG WEST POINT LLC
The applicant is requesting approval of a TPM to divide 4.42 acres into two legal parcels. The parcels are proposed to be Parcel 1, consisting of 1.33 acres, and Parcel 2 consisting of 2.21 acres.

The property has a General Plan land use designation of Community Center and is zoned C2 (General Commercial). The site is currently vacant. The subject property is located on Highway 26 in West Point. APN 008-016-009 is a portion of Block 4, Lot 12, Por. Lot 3. Proposed Parcel 1 will be accessed via an access and public utilities easement extending from an existing driveway on Highway 26 located on the adjacent parcel to the south. A focused Negative Declaration was prepared and was available for review from August 12, 2016 through September 12, 2016. Seven comments were submitted in response to the 30 day public comment period.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Calaveras County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 9:00 a. m. or soon thereafter to consider the above referenced project. The public hearing will be held in the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors Chambers, Government Center, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, California.
Pursuant to Government Code 65009, if anyone challenges the above listed issues in a court of law, the challenge may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raise at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Commission, at or prior to, the public hearing. You are welcome to review the application at the Calaveras County Planning Department during normal working hours, 8:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m., Monday through Friday except county holidays.
