Avery, CA…Last evening Avery Middle School held the graduation ceremony for the graduating 8th grade class. In the picturesque mountain setting with trees as their backdrop the graduates moved forward in their education path. It is so nice to see the traditions continue, especially the Mike Courtwright and Jeff Swanson Awards. I retired from Avery Middle School as school secretary 13 years ago – when most of these kids were born!! Congratulations to all you Hawks. Keep going strong AMS.
