West Point, CA…At approximately 1500 hours, Snyder was driving a Ford southbound on SR-26, approaching Main St.
Benjamin E. Breeke, 39 from Wilseyville was standing outside of his Chevrolet, which was parked next to the gas pumps, at the gas station, located on the southwest corner of SR-26 and Main Street. He was standing in between Chevy and the gas pumps. For an unknown reason, Snyder lost control of her Ford. The Ford traveled to the right and off of the roadway into the gas station parking lot where the front of the Ford collided with the left side of Chevy. The impact pushed the Chevy into Breeke, pinning him in between his Chevy and the gas pump.
Mr. Breeke was taken to Sutter Roseville for treatment of major injuries
Alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a contributing factor in this collision.
The cause of this collision is still under investigation.
I am close to the man that was injured in the june 21 st accident onSR26 and I was told that there was a truck that was involed and I don’t understand he was supposed to have been pinned between his boss truck and the pump and there is no mention of this truck anywhere I’m just saying maybe there is more to this story.
