Minor Injuries in Hwy 4 Head On Collision

Arnold, CA…A 16 year old Discovery Bay man was was traveling in a 1998 Saturn eastbound on SR-4 at County Club Drive at a stated speed of 60 MPH. An Arnold woman was stopped in a 2007 Toyota in the left turn lane on westbound SR-4 at Country Club Drive. For unknown reasons, the 16 year old applied his brakes and swerved left, head-on into the Toyota. The Arnold woman and her 7 year old passenger were both transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center for their injuries.

Drugs and/or alcohol are not a factor in this collision.
