We are now going down the rabbit hole of lack of county funding for infrastructure, human services, schools, etc… Question…where will $$$ come from to run Calaveras county? We have a bargain basement Transient Occupation Tax (TOT) …Is it still 6%?… could not locate Amador County’s TOT, Mariposa County TOT is 10%, Placer 10% and 8% on eastern slope of Lake Tahoe…just wondering how this county will do financially… will we go into receivership?…so many questions…I heard the legal cannibas farmers at one supervisor’s’ meeting a few months ago say they will sue the county if a cannabis ban goes through…where will the money to pay for these legal issues come from? We are in strange times… and on a different subject, District 2 Supervisor Garamendi needs to have his turn as board President…what happened there?
The three imbeciles who voted tis down will be crying over no revenue for schools and cops. They will have to give up their salaries to cover county expenses.
I would rather pay taxes than get money from an industry that will pollute our environment and drug our youth.
Thank You for putting more chemicals and Gangsters into the Woods Mr. Mills. I’ll see to it
that you loose many votes in our District. Open your eyes and see how many Clean and Legal growers there are, and support them!!!!
hell Monsanto is going to do more damage with their nerve gasses being sprayed on our agricutlture fields than pot.
