74 Year Old Stockton Woman Lost Her Life This Afternoon in Hwy 12 Collision

San Andreas, CA…Jacob Ham was driving a Ford pickup, towing a horse trailer eastbound on SR-12, just west of the North Fork Calaveras River Bridge. Mr. Ham stopped in the roadway while waiting for traffic to clear so he could turn left into a driveway.

The Stockton man was riding a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on SR-12 behind the truck & trailer. For an undetermined reason, a 74 Year Old Stockton woman was late to recognize the vehicle stopped in the roadway ahead of her. She applied Vehicle the Suzuki’s brakes and steered to the left but was unable to avoid a collision with the rear of the trailer.

She was ejected from her motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries. The 74 Year Old Stockton woman was pronounced deceased at the collision scene by paramedics.

No alcohol and/or drug use is suspected at this time.

The deceased was wearing a approved full face helmet.
