San Andreas, CA…The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors shall conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, the 28th of August, 2018 during the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting at the Board of Supervisors Chambers at the Government Center, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, California at approximately 9:30AM. The hearing is being called by the Board of Supervisors for the purpose of soliciting citizen’s views to consider allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Income Funds. The proposed allocations include Food Bank Services (up to $124,667), Dental Services (up to $124,667), Housing Rehabilitation (up to $124,666) and Administration (up to $26,000). Citizen participation is encouraged throughout the grant process, the requirements for which are explained in Section 7080 of the State Community Development Block Grant program regulations.

The County promotes fair housing and makes all its programs available to low and moderate income families regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual preference, marital status or handicap. A public information file, including the State regulations, will be available at the Calaveras County Health and Human Services Agency during normal working hours from August 18, 2018 to August 28, 2018.
