Jim & Nancy Conway have opened JC Power Equipment in AVery. The power couple have been married since Nov, 11 1990. They have two children James and Andrea and two Granddaughters Athena and Arabella. History in power equipment. 1982/83 1983/84 high school junior and senior yr’s, Attended CCOC ( central county occupational center) Vocational school. During my jr yr, I was asked to compete against other vocational programs in our area in a CA state sponsored program. The instructor informed me that I was the first, first year student to be asked to compete.

When I was younger growing up in San Jose who ever lived close brought over there mini bikes mowers etc. for me to make run. As this continued I thought I may as well get trained so I can get it back to oem standards.

Needless to say I couldn’t wait to get into high school to sign up for a vocation/trade school. From there I have managed several shops. I do enjoy this industry from a mechanics point of view.

During this time I have been certified in many factory training courses. Factory trained and hold certificates of completion in many applications and practical workmanship.

We also offer 24hr turn around on chainsaw chain sharpening. (drop off and pick up next business day)

My wife and I Have been in customer service oriented business’s our whole life and are ready to bring our knowledge with us. To service the community in a small engine service and repair shop of almost any make and model of gas powered equipment.
