Vegetation Fire Swiss Ranch Road Mountain Ranch

Mountain Ranch Ca. CalFire along with units from Central Fire and CalFire Units out of the Amador El Dorado Unit are going on scene with a full wild land dispatch to a reported vegetation fire with possible burn injuries up the Swiss Ranch Road area from Mountain Ranch.  The fire is reported to be 1 acre at this time with possibility of a outbuilding involved.

Update: 6:18pm FORWARD PROGRESS STOPPED. In heavy mop up operations for several hours. Expecting a full containment call in an hour or so. Releasing Copter 404 and Copter 517. Some Engines being released back to their districts too. All Aircraft have been released off this incident.

Update: 5:54pm A Fire Fighter Support Unit is enroute to this incident. They provide Food, Cold Drinks, Medical Needs and more for those on the front lines.

Update: 5:50pm AA releasing T83 back to Columbia fully loaded. Good news!

Update: 5:38pm Releasing T82 with 500 on board holding T83 with full load.

Update: 5:36pm Good progress being made with Tankers looking to be released soon.

Update: 5:27pm Per the IC fire holding 5-6 acres and working on picking up spot fires. PHI Med 41 is inbound to the Mt Ranch Ball Park LZ for the burn victim.

Update: 5:24pm Second hand report a explosion of some kind was the ignition point for this incident. Burn victim being Medi Flighted out.

Update: 5:17pm Medi Flight requested to Mt Ranch LZ for burn victim.

Update: 5:13pm Copter 517 inbound to this incident 15 min eta.

Update: 4:58pm fire 4-5 acres per Air Attack over the incident with structure threats.

Update: 4:56pm this incident is about 1 mile up Swiss Ranch Road PLEASE stay out of the area so Fire Equipment can get into this incident.

Update: 4:52pm 2 acres Grass and woodlands per the Incident Command. Fire Fighters are attending to the burn victim at this time.
