Fireball is the Calaveras County Animal Services Pet of the Week

San Andreas, CA…Meet Fireball, a shorthaired young adult brown tabby with distinct, gorgeous markings on her coat and tail. Playful and spirited with a larger than life personality, Fireball is always up for a new adventure. Her self-reliant nature doesn’t make her much of a cuddle cat but she enjoys being petted and is always entertaining. Often vocal, Fireball is the kind of feline that demands to be noticed. She will occasionally show affection by giving little love nips and for that reason we feel she should not be in a home with very young children. Nor does she seem to care for other felines so would likely do best as an only cat. We are confident that Fireball will make a wonderful addition to a loving and cat savvy household that would also honor her independent spirit.

As with all cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter, Fireball is up-to-date on her routine vaccinations and has been micro-chipped. She will need to be spayed before going home with you.

AO50711, and other cats and dogs awaiting their forever homes at Calaveras County Animal Services, 901 Jeff Tuttle Drive, San Andreas (in government center by the new jail). When the dog or cat population at the shelter is at 80% or above capacity, the total adoption fee will be 50% off––reduced to $40 for dogs and $30 for cats. The adoption fee for cats who arrive at the shelter already altered will be $10. With the 55-5-5 Program, any time an adopter is 55 or older and adopts any pet over 5 years old, the adoption fee is $5.
