Kirkwood, CA…From Caltrans Dist 10…”SR-88 CARSON SPUR TO CLOSE FOR AVALANCHE CONTROL – FEB. 14 at 2:30 p.m. State Route 88 will close at the Carson Spur (west of Kirkwood) for avalanche control at 2:30 p.m. There is no ETO as to when work will be complete and SR-88 will re-open.”
West Point, CA…A mudslide on State Route 26 at Woodhouse Mine Road (southwest of West Point) is currently blocked due to a mudslide and debris flow in the roadway.
