Sonora, CA….Updated April 29, 2020: Forest Closure Order STF-16-2020-01, issued April 5, 2020 for health and public safety related to COVID-19, has expired. A new closure order, STF-16-2020-02, is in effect through May 15, 2020. Visitors are asked to honor the shelter in place order by Gov. Newsom and recreate locally. We will welcome visitors back to the forest as soon as we are able.
