Calaveras County, CA…Be on the lookout for anything that just looks amiss. No one is supposed to be in mandatory evacuation areas and with many of the advisory evac areas being only sparsely populated be especially vigilant for private vehicles and people that look like they don’t belong. We have heard reports of out of area Valley & Bay Area criminals possibly working in a semi-organized fashion. Not much worse form of humanity than those that will prey on victims or potential victims of a disaster. There are plenty of local and mutual aid law enforcement in the area to help. If it just doesn’t look right….Call It In.
