Angels Camp, CA…On May 29th they held a drive through ceremony at Bret Harte High School where seniors received their diplomas and had pictures taken in cap and gown. The route took cars down Lee Ln through the parking lot behind lower gym and into bus chute. Cars exited through the horse shoe parking lot. Only one vehicle per family(including graduate) were allowed to enter. All occupants of each vehicle had to remain inside the vehicle at all times. (Click on any photo below for larger Image)

Ceremony included the following:
o Each vehicle was handed a commencement program as they enter through cones.
o Teaching staff, administration, and board members greeted vehicles as they proceeded through route practicing appropriate social distancing guidelines.
o Pre- recorded graduate thank you statements were played for guests as they proceed through the line from speakers behind lower gym.
o “class of 2020 back drop will welcomed graduates as they enter bus chute as well as Pomp & Circumstance.
o End of bus chute vehicles stopped as Principal and Superintendent handed graduate diploma through passenger side window and picture is taken.
o Vehicles exited horse shoe parking lot next to football scoreboard.
o There was no parking allowed for this event on the Bret Harte Campus. All parking lots were blocked with caution tape and no spectators were allowed on campus to view this event.

News Media was also not allowed to live stream the event.

• June 12th Virtual Graduation Ceremony will be released at 6:00pm on school website and will include video from this ceremony as well as commencement speeches and musical performances.
