Angels Camp & Sonora, CA…Pinnell’s Carpet one is seeking an indoor / outside flooring sales associate to join our team! Qualified applicants must be customer service oriented, with a can-do attitude while exhibiting professionalism with integrity and honesty. You will also need to be a hard worker, be able to work with a team, and continually strive for perfection.

With over 44 years in the flooring business, Pinnell’s Carpet One is one of the Mother Lodes most reliable places to work.

Responsibilities:

· Greeting customer on the sales floor and determining their wants and need.

· In-Home Sales Presentations

· Selling flooring and floor care products.

· Keeping up to date on the wide selection of floors we have to offer along with the benefits and warranties provided by each.

· Providing outstanding customer service.

· Writing sales orders.

· Helping work through and following up after completion of job.

· Building client relationships. Market Yourself Door to Door in Residential Communities and Business to Business

· Complete and turn in required paperwork for operations/

· Receiving payment or obtain credit authorization.

· Following up in a timely and professional manner with customers on all requests or concerns.

· Answering questions from and providing information to customers about flooring.

· Assisting customers with flooring choices – explaining features and benefits of various types of flooring.

The skills and abilities we’re seeking include:

· Experience with, decorating or design.

· Must be willing and able to attend some off-site training.

· Must have access to reliable transportation in order to get to work, and to visit customer’s homes.

· Must have open and flexible work availability.

· Must be willing to learn our computer operating system.

· Retail Sales experience is a plus, but not required.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Professionalism, to include dependability, accountability, and punctuality.

· Self-motivated.

· Time management skills.
