Copperopolis, CA…The American Red Cross is supporting two temporary evacuation sites for people evacuating the Walker Fire in Calaveras County: Copperopolis Armory/Community Center: 695 Main St, Copperopolis, Mountain Oaks School: 150 Oak St. off Pool Station Rd, San Andreas.

These locations are not overnight shelters. We are able to open overnight shelters or provide hotel accommodations that support social distancing protocols, should we be requested to do so by Calaveras County.

Both sites are staffed with Red Cross volunteers providing snacks, water and blankets. PPE and screening equipment are on site.
