Another Death & 180 New Covid Cases in Tuolumne County

Sonora, CA..This weekend, Tuolumne County is reporting 60 new community cases and 120 additional SCC inmate cases for a total of 180 new cases. One of the new community cases is hospitalized and the remaining appear to be isolating at home. Two individuals, one previously isolating and one previously released from isolation are now hospitalized. Unfortunately, we must also report another death of a female in her 80s who was a resident at a local care facility. The Public Health team expresses its condolences to her family and friends.

We continue to be impacted by the Regional Stay Home Order due to the surge in hospitalizations and the impact on ICU bed availability. The San Joaquin Valley Region, which includes Tuolumne County is currently reporting 0% ICU availability.
