We’re Bonnie & Nate Randall, Founders/Owners/Operators/Distiller of Hinterhaus. We were the ones crazy enough to persevere with our longtime plan of opening a distillery amidst a global pandemic in 2020. Chalk that up to good old American determination. We forged ahead, intent on partnering with local vintners, malters & brewers for integrity bottlings despite the raised eyebrows we sometimes received. We’re still waiting for the day when the state allows distillers like us to offer tastings and cocktail service (Covid-restricted currently), and we had to pivot in a variety of ways away from our original plans. But you know what? We wouldn’t change that for anything. We’ve had the pleasure of being welcomed into the homes of our patrons each and every time they open up a Hinterhaus bottle.🙏⁣

Our doors are currently open to the public every Fri-Sun 12-5. Though we don’t offer shipping just yet, we welcome you to explore our current lineup of whiskeys, vodka, and liqueurs on our website. Online purchases can be picked up during our public hours OR by appointment.
