San Andreas, CA…The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Volunteer programs are comprised of highly dedicated persons who provide a wide range of professional services. Each day volunteers perform duties including vacation house checks, clerical work, search and rescue activities, staffing Sheriff substations, assisting at Covid vaccination sites, and countless other duties that often go unrecognized. By utilizing the thousands of volunteer hours per year, the Sheriff’s office is able to lessen the impact to the county’s general fund and make the most out of its limited budget.

Their efforts not only make the Calaveras County Sheriff’s office a better and more efficient workplace, but they also improve the quality of life for the citizens of Calaveras County.
