Angels Camp, CA…Janie El Marie Schmitz also known as “Marie” born September 3 1938 passed away on July 19 2021 from a long battle with a terminal illness. Marie and her husband Bob moved to Angels camp in 2000 from the Bay Area. They were both loved by our community.

Marie enjoyed life! She loved to cook and loved animals. Some of her favorite time spent, was when she worked for Curves. Marie enjoyed church and loved the Lord! Marie raised 6 children, Bobbie Benjamin, Billy Franks Brian Franks, Barry Franks

Brenda Franks, and Beverlee Greenaway. She has many grandchildren and great grandchildren that adored her. Marie loved her 3 dogs and her grand dogs as well!

If you were blessed to have known Marie than you knew how her smile could brighten any day and you always felt love in her presence.
