Hey Good People!! Great Conditions & Your Pure Mountain Fun Awaits at Bear Valley!!

Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! We broke our all time December record for snowfall on Dec 29th at 8am with the new record being 161″. Mattly’s weather forecast for Wednesday. Inversion conditions are present this morning as the snow study plot near Grizz Top is showing 44F at 5am and the mid 20’s in the town of Bear Valley. Cloudy skies will prevail this morning and give way to clearing by mid-day with the temp hovering around 40F or so for the high. ENE winds will again be in play today and be up to 10mph with some possible gusts above that range. The week ahead as well as the coming weekend will see the trend of dry conditions and sunshine continuing for the next 5-7 days with a bit of windy conditions showing face around the 14th as the models show an interesting event at that time as the gradients really tighten up.

A mid-month warming event looks possible at this time so I’ll keep my finger on that pulse and share more as that event makes its move. The season so far has been a great snow producer and our storm weather break during January looks to be changing come the beginning of February. Stay tuned!

Many laughed at my 400″ season prediction 3 months ago…..let’s hope it still rings true for the season!
Pure Mtn Fun is our ethos so come on up and check us out.

Cheers,
Mattly
