Valley Springs, CA…An adult male was transported at 4 am Friday by Air Ambulance to a trauma center in Modesto with a gunshot wound to the upper (thigh) leg. The Shooting happened in Valley Springs at the 76 gas station and is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Firefighters responded at 4 am Saturday morning to a reported structure fire in Burson. Firefighters arrived on the scene to a fully involved RV in a field on South Burson Road. RV was determined to be unoccupied.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
