Sonora, CA…Fuel Woods Permit Sales Began April 15th. Fuelwood permits are available on the Stanislaus National Forest beginning April 15. The cost of the permit is $25.00 for two and a half cords, ($10 per cord) with a maximum purchase of 10 cords per household per season. Permits can be purchased at any of the District Offices or the Supervisor’s Office.

Please note: Cash or Check only. The Sonora Office is open from 9 am – 3 pm for Fuelwood Permit sales. Calaveras, Summit and Groveland offices will also be open.
