Angels Camp, CA…A bit of a look back at 2019 to get you in the mood for Tomorrow’s big kick off parade for this year’s Calaveras County Fair and Frog Jump Jubilee. Ladies, Gents, Boys & Girls…The 2019 Calaveras County Fair & Frog Jump Jubilee is underway. The Youth Parade led the way through Historic Downtown Angels Camp. The clouds parted and the sun made an appearance to welcome in the festivities. One interesting thing was the abundance of camera crews with very expensive equipment on hand getting footage in the can. We asked who they were shooting for and there is a Netflix crew in town for this weekend to shoot a documentary on the Frog Jump and what it takes to win. So if Rosie the Ribbiter’s record falls it will become part of a Netflix Feature.
