Only 150 Calaveras County June 7th Vote By Mail Ballots Left to Be Counted

San Andreas, CA…The following is an update from the Calaveras Clerk Recorders Office…”Election results have been updated today on the Calaveras County Elections webpage. You can view by searching Calaveras County Elections and then clicking on the Election Results icon.

There are roughly 150 vote by mail ballots yet to be counted. These ballots were received through the mail yesterday and today with a postmark on or before Election Day. We will continue counting ballots received through the mail through June 14, as long as they are postmarked by June 7.

Voters who received letters stating their signature was missing from the yellow return envelope or their signature did not match the voter registration file can return the form to cure through June 29.

Counting ballots is our top priority. Once complete, we will begin the manual hand count to verify the equipment tabulated the votes for each contest correctly. The deadline to certify and report the election results to the State is July 7, 2022.
