Today is “Harold & Caroline Doll Day” in Wallace & Burson!

Wallace, CA…The Wallace-Burson Association, a non-profit organization located in Wallace, Calaveras County, will be honoring two of its members – Harold and Caroline Doll – for their more than 50-years of service to their community at a celebration to be held in their honor starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 27 at the Tri-Lakes Church located at 7999 Wards Ave in Wallace. The event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and will occur on a Day which the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors has proclaimed “Harold and Caroline Doll Day” in Wallace and Burson.

The Wallace-Burson Association is a non-profit organiztion which, among its programs, provides toys and clothing to chilldren through its Santa Smiles Christmas Program, performs Highway Clean-Up along State-Route 12 in the Wallace-Burson area, sponsors a Halloween event for children and during Independence Day week sponsors “Field of Flags” which honors past and present members of the military service, first responders and others.
