Valley Springs, CA…With the events that unfolded with the Shooter and Law Enforcement today, I am grateful as a Citizen and Fire Chief to be a part of this Community. Law Enforcement Officers from Calaveras County, Tuolumne County, and CHP neutralized the “Bad Guy” that was shooting at them last night and today. They tried to negotiate with him for a safe outcome and he wanted no part of it!
Thank You to Sheriff Rick Dibasillo for protecting our Community and keeping us safe!
