Arnold, CA…As the storm comes in Hwy 120 closed last night and Hwys 108 & 89 are closing this morning. Conspicuously absent is Hwy 4 in the official notices. Can’t imagine it will stay open when the snow starts falling in the high country. One reason it may though is there is construction and drainage work in the high country so they have equipment and crews still working up there. Plan ahead and Hwy 88 will remain open regardless….

Last night notices from Caltrans

SR 120 W at Lee Vining is closing TONIGHT at 6:00 pm.
SR 108 (Sonora Pass) is closing TOMORROW at 10:00 am.
SR 89 (Monitor Pass) is closing TOMORROW at 11:00 am.
These are storm closures and Caltrans will assess the roads for reopening after the storm has passed.
