San Andreas, CA…On November 8, 2022, The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors approved a proclamation recognizing yesterday as “Law Enforcement Records and Support Personnel Day.” Sheriff Support Technicians provide vital functions to the public and keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.

Often, they are behind the scenes working diligently processing and tracking documents, providing crime analytics, performing crime scene specialist/property room manager duties, assisting in tracking felons, maintaining criminal and civil statistics, tracking, register sex/narcotic and gang offenders, and improving apprehension strategies by using technological based crime trend tracking.

Their hard work and dedication greatly assist with the overall effort and mission of the Sheriff’s Office of working toward a safer community for the citizens and embracing our motto of “Community First.”

While yesterday was the formal day of recognition, we would like to thank our Sheriff Support Staff for their dedicated service by acknowledging the hard work and dedication they demonstrate each and every day.
