One Way Traffic Controls on State Routes 4 & 12

Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations next week on State Routes 4 and 12.

Route 4
• Intermittent traffic breaks in both directions from Bonanza Mine Way to Appaloosa Road for highway construction for the Wagon Trail Realignment Project beginning Monday, November 14, through Thursday, November 17, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022.
• One-way traffic control from approximately 2 miles west of Angel Oaks Drive to Angel Oaks Drive for utility work beginning Monday, November 14, through Friday, November 18, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Route 12
• One-way traffic control from Whelisma Railroad Crossing to Pettinger Road for utility work from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022.
• One-way traffic control from Lime Creek Road to Toyon Circle for utility work beginning Monday, November 14, through Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control at Central Hill Road for utility work beginning Monday, November 14, through Friday, November 18, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and are advised to use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
