Major Injuries for Jamestown Residents in Hwy 12 Collision

Valley Springs, CA…On 11/29/2022, at approximately 1454 hours, a Jamestown man was stopped at the stop sign on Burson Rd, waiting to cross SR-12. A Valley Springs woman was driving west on SR-12 at 45 miles per hour, approaching the intersection with Burson Rd. The Jamestown man failed to observe the approaching Dodge Ram and drove forward into the intersection directly into the path of the Dodge.

The Valley Springs woman was unable to avoid the vehicle and the front of her vehicle impacted the passenger side of the Jamestown Man’s Toyota Corolla. The impact caused major damage to both vehicles and trapped the occupants of the Toyota until they were removed by fire personnel.

The passenger in the Toyota Saturnina Reyes, 61 and Antonio Reyes Jr, 69 were flown from the scene for treatment of major injuries.
