Rail Road Flat, CA…On December 25,2022, A Murphys man was driving his vehicle on southbound Railroad Flat Road at an unknown speed. The roadway curved and for an unknown reason he failed to follow the curve and his vehicle left the roadway. The vehicle continued to travel in a easterly direction, where the driver’s side of the vehicle impacted a large tree. Fire personnel and paramedics arrived on scene, and attempted life saving measures on the party. Unfortunately he succumbed to his injuries on scene.

It is unknown if drugs and/or alcohol contributed to this collision.
