No Injuries When Copperopolis Woman & Six Month Old Take Off Road Excursion

Copperopolis, CA…On February 19, 2016, at approximately 1615 hours, a Copperopolis woman was driving her Toyota westbound on SR-4, east of Obyrnes Ferry Rd at a stated speed of approximately 60 to 65 MPH. For an unknown reason Pilson allowed her vehicle to leave the roadway and travel onto the shoulder on the north side of SR-4.

She then lost control of her vehicle, traveling back to the left and across both lanes of travel and onto the south shoulder of SR-4 where it struck an embankment. The force of the collision deployed the airbags, causing her to sustain minor injuries. Pilson was transported by ambulance to Mark Twain Medical Center for treatment.

There were no injuries to a 6 month old male passenger

Alcohol and/or drugs are not considered a factor in this collision.
