Groveland, CA…On Sunday morning, February 21, 2016 at approx. 0335 hours, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Groveland, Ca. It was reported to deputies that Todd Everett Anderson had gone to his girlfriend’s house intoxicated, started a fight with his girlfriend’s relatives and hit the house with his truck prior to driving away with his girlfriend in the vehicle. A few minutes after leaving, Anderson drove back to his girlfriend’s house and fired gunshots toward the residence. Thankfully, no one inside the residence was hit or injured by the gunfire.

Anderson was located a short time later at his residence and found to be in possession of a stolen handgun. Anderson’s girlfriend was found with Anderson and was uninjured. Anderson was arrested and booked for 245(a)(1)PC – Assault with a deadly weapon, 246 PC – Shooting at an inhabited dwelling and 496(a) PC – Possession of stolen property. Anderson is currently in custody at the Tuolumne County Jail with a $100,000 dollar bail.
