Sonora, CA…Just before 7am this morning a 50 year old Oakdale woman was driving westbound on State Route 108. For unknow reasons she allowed her 2003 Toyota to veer right and then to the left and then back to the right, when her vehicle traveled onto the north shoulder and ran off the roadway. The Toyota traveled down a steep embankment, overturned and struck trees before coming to a rest.

She was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.

Drug or Alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this collision. The information below is an informational release and not a complete accident report
