Avery, CA…Hello Everyone, Vallecito has decided to close all schools on Monday, Feb. 27th based on the National Weather Service forecasts that include Winter Storm and Blizzard Warnings for the communities in our District. With heavy snow predicted to fall overnight and throughout the day tomorrow, it is safest to close schools and minimize travel on potentially hazardous roads.

The safety of our students, parents and staff are a top priority when weighing these decisions on whether to close school. We have designated inclement weather days built into our calendar the week of June 5th and will make up any needed days during that week.

As this is a multi-day storm, we will continue to monitor the conditions and forecasts on Monday and keep families and staff updated with our status for Tuesday. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe.
