Avery, CA…Hello Everyone, Vallecito Union School District has monitored conditions throughout the day and been following advisories from both the National Weather Service and Cal Trans. Based on current weather conditions and forecasts for continued snow and unsafe road conditions, VUSD will close all schools for Tuesday, Feb. 28th. We will continue to monitor conditions throughout the day tomorrow and based on current weather forecasts are hopeful that we will be able to resume school on Wednesday.

Our maintenance crews have been working to clear parking lots and side walks with the intention of having schools ready to open as soon as conditions stabilize.

The District has built-in snow days and we will plan on making up the missed days during the week of June 5th. Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe.
