Strawberry, CA…May 31, 2023, 12:38 p.m. Update Strawberry RX Prescribed Burn: We continue burning in Unit 18 today. We have Engines strategically placed along Highway 108. If you can avoid traveling on 108 above Strawberry, it would be best for the Firefighters to be able complete the burn in this area.

If you need to travel in this area, please drive slowly. A soft closure of the highway above Strawberry may be necessary to keep the public safe. You may be escorted through the site by Forest Service Personnel.
