San Andreas, CA…The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office would like to announce that Sergeant Chad Poortinga is taking over the responsibilities of Public Information Officer (PIO). Sergeant Poortinga will now be the primary point of contact to cooperate with authorized news media representatives and to furnish appropriate information regarding significant incidents, events, and breaking news stories.
