Moccasin, CA…On June 25, 2023, at approximately 8:42 A.M., a 35-year-old male resident of Soulsbyville, CA was riding a 2023 Kawasaki Ninja, eastbound on State Route 120, east of Moccasin, CA at an unknown speed. Meanwhile, a 20-year-old male resident of Groveland, CA – Connor Park was driving a 1997 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, westbound on State Route 120, just east of the motorcyclist.

For an unknown reason, the motorcyclist traveled into the westbound lane, directly into the path of the pickup. The front of the Kawasaki crashed into the front of the Toyota. The force of the impact ejected the motorcyclist off of the motorcycle and onto the roadway.

The motorcyclist was declared deceased on scene by emergency personnel. Both parties were utilizing safety equipment at the time of the crash. Alcohol and/or drugs are not suspected to be a factor in this crash. The cause of this crash remains under investigation.
