Amador County, CA…Hospice of Amador and Calaveras is thrilled to announce the receipt of a substantial donation of $400,000 from the estate of the late Gary E. Noice. A staunch supporter of the community, Gary Noice’s bequest is a testament to his dedication to making a lasting impact even beyond his lifetime. The donation comes a year after his passing, making this donation an even more memorable one.
Gary Noice, a former navigator/bomber in Vietnam and a retired Navy Lieutenant Commander, transitioned into a career in law enforcement upon leaving the military. Despite his quiet demeanor, Gary led an exciting life, earning accolades for his service and dedication. His significant contributions were recognized not only on the battlefield but also by having a mountain in Antarctica named in his honor, Mount Noice.
Samantha Lukow, Executive Director of Hospice of Amador and Calaveras expressed her gratitude for Gary Noice’s thoughtful decision to include Hospice in his estate plans: “We are deeply moved by Mr. Noice’s generosity.
